The stove-burgulet is useful and with the current gas prices a very topical heating device. You can apply it not only to dacha, in the garage, in  houses. With the help of designers, it is easy to fit it into the interior of the room, so that it is not only warm but cozy.
For those who think about the bourgeois and want to have it, can make it with their own hands

  Tools for the manufacture of self-propelled stoves
  - Welding machine at least 200A with electrodes, clothing for welding,
  - Brush for metal.
  - Sanding machine
  - Gas cutter (we use it to cut out individual parts)
  - Hammer-slag separator
  - chalk or pencil for notation
  - Pliers, hammer and chisel

Variety of the most effective burzhuek own hands
Depending on the location of the burner, the type and technical properties will depend. Such adaptations can be made from various metal containers (tanks, barrels, pipes, gas used cylinders), a piece of metal sheet with a thickness of at least 3-5 mm. in section
In the garage you can make a burzhuyk out of any material, but for the house may not all come up.

Burzhuyka own hands, working on recycled oil

Such a burzhuyku I would not put in a house where people live, because even with the best ventilation, when burning recycled oil, a peculiar smell is released.

turbojet circuit

To make it, you need a sheet of metal 4-5mm wide. in the section. From it we will cut the details we need. For individual particles and making a chimney, we need a pipe.

The diagram shows the dimensions of the necessary parts for the creation of a stove-burger on waste oil

Drawing of the stove, which operates on waste oil

Grinders cut out on the metal sheet in advance exactly measured details, and sharpen the edges of the elements.
- We measure the height of our pipe and drill a hole in order to connect both the lower and upper reservoir of our of the heater.
- For the chimney pipe at the top, the upper plane of the tank, a little to the left of the center, cut through the hole according to a pre-drawn scheme.
- In the lower plane, which has moved to the right, we make one more hole for the connecting pipe.
- Two round discs to the part of the pipe this will be the thickness of the upper tank.
- By analogy, we make the bottom part. The only difference is that the hole for the pipe is made in the center. Just cut out the hole, which is necessary for refueling the stove - the neck. It removes the removable lid.
- The legs are welded to the bottom of the stove.
- In order for the structure to be rigid with metal brackets, strengthen the upper tank and the lower one.
- For aesthetics, we paint it with heat-resistant paint, after cleaning the metal surfaces from rust.
- We connect our oven to the chimney.

  This kind of has a stove working on waste oil.

The principle of the furnace: pour the waste oil into the neck, then carefully ignite a long cod through the hole. As soon as the oil in the tank lights up, close the lid. The hole is completely closed. The oxygen that enters through the hole in the pipe (the tube connects the two tanks) promotes intense combustion. The upper part is very hot, therefore the upper part can be used as a cooking surface. Always in the garage you can find processed oil, so there will not be a big problem that would fill the stove-burzhuyku.

Burzhuyka, made from a pipe or barrel with their own hands

In order to make such a burzhuyu with our own hands, we will need a metal barrel or a pipe of the right diameter. Such a burzhuyk is quite suitable for installation for a garage or villa, and if done with decor elements, it can be used in living quarters.

A simple version of a burzhuyka from a pipe

Step-by-step manufacturing of homemade burzhuyki from the barrel.
- Measure and cut out two holes (rectangular) at the level that one of them served as a furnace, and the other - an ash pan.
- Those parts that we cut out, we use as doors, we weld metal bands along the perimeter, which will seal all the gaps. To the door we weld the handle with the latch.
- We measure from the firebox down 10 cm from the inside of the barrel and weld the support, on it we will install the fire bars.
- For the manufacture of the grate, it is possible to use reinforcement.
- If we decided to make a stove out of a pipe, then we need to brew both sides.
- For convenience of use, the legs are welded.
- In the upper part we cut out a circular hole for the smoke, then weld the pipe.
- We weld the hinges and hang the door on them. Next, we place and install the valve.
- We grind all the seams, which are left from welding and we put heat-proof paint on the stove.
-With the finished vessel we attach the chimney, which must go out into the street.
If the room where we want to supply the heating device is large, then this a good option. But if the room is small then the burzhuika can not fit, since it takes up a lot of space.

At the gas cylinder good form  for the stove and it is made of durable material.

Cut the top of the balloon where there was a tap.
- At the bottom we cut out a square - it will be the entrance to the heating chamber. The cut out part is also decocted with metal and used as a door.
- On the door we weld the lock, the handle. Then weld the hinges and mount the door on them.
- From the future bottom of the stove we blow out a hole for the installation of the bars.
- Preliminary it is necessary to make a box of thinner metal, it will serve to build ash and ash.
- We'll make the legs from the corner, which will be welded to the bottom.
- Then install the chimney. In the upper part we make a hole where it is soldered.
- At your request, a hob can be made at the top of the oven.
We made a burzhuyku can be used both in the garage and at the cottage.

Booster of rectangular shape

Such a burzhuyka the most better suited  for a summer residence, a garage, a house, as it is the most practical, aesthetic and small in size.

Drawings of a rectangular barrel

A simple and effective construction of a burger called "Gnome"

In this picture there is a drawing of the stove "Gnome". Its design is simple, these are two chambers, a furnace, a ash pan, as well as a chimney and legs.
Another drawing draws a more complex construction of the turbo-charger. Its advantage is that it can keep heat for a longer period.

How to make such a burzhuyku "Gnome" with their own hands, look further

- We need a thick sheet of metal from three 3mm., A metal corner 50 * 50, chimney pipe view.
- We preliminarily delineate all the necessary details and transfer them to a sheet of metal.
- In the front, it is necessary to cut out two holes of a rectangular shape for the ash-pit and the furnace. Next, they will be fastened with hinges with doors and a lock.
- From above, it is necessary to cut an even hole for the burner, and also an opening for the chimney.
- We weld the legs to the bottom of the burger.
- On the side walls we measure the place where the grate will be installed, then weld two corners, they will become a support for the bars.
"Take the rod of the armature and weld a frame out of it, it will be the bars."
- At the top step back from the hob 160 mm, weld the plate, it should be less by 8 centimeters from the depth of the burger, in other words it does not reach 8 centimeters to the back wall of the burger.
-So, we weld the same plate to the back wall, it should be higher from the first plate by 8 cm, but not from the front wall of 8 cm. After all the details are welded, we should get a corridor - a labyrinth.
  Burning air, passing through such a corridor, heats the walls. Thus, our stove retains heat longer.
- All joints of the burzhuyki are carefully cooked with cooking, just strengthen the metal corner.
- The last stage: we install a pipe for the chimney, we clean the seams that were formed during welding operations.
- For an aesthetically pleasing appearance the stove can be painted with heat-resistant paint.
Summarize. The presented burzhujki all different and are applied in various cases. Your task is to study all the designs and drawings, choose the one that suits you best.

It's not enough in which film about the war you will not see a burzhuik with flaming firewood, near which soldiers crowded and discuss something.

A simple form in the form of a barrel, led outward to the window leaf, a knee and a couple of logs could quickly and effectively heat even a large room. Why this design was called a burzhuyka, remains in history, but today it is also well-deservedly popular. Below you and I will figure out how to quickly make a burger with our own hands, show the most effective models, as well as see photos and videos of the most successful models of furnaces.

  The advantages and disadvantages of using burzhuek

By analogy with any other heating devices, burzhujki also differ in certain pluses and minuses in work.

From the positive properties, we can note the following:

  • use of an unlimited range of solid fuels - firewood, sawdust, coal, chips, briquettes, pellets, peat, etc. In some cases even recycled engine oil is used as a fuel;
  • the possibility of making a burzhuyki own hands (see the drawings below), practically from improvised materials;
  • the compact size of the oven, which allows you to place even in a small room;
  • there is no need to install a chimney, a foundation and a platform.

Negative characteristics include:

  • necessity of protection from burning out of combustion objects - coals, sparks, etc .;
  • strong and rapid heating of the furnace walls, which increases the risk of injury to others;
  • a large fuel consumption - it is rational to use such an oven only for short-term heating.

  Varieties of furnace designs

Structurally the burzhuyka is a rectangular or oval tank equipped with a furnace with a door, an ash pan and a knee for the extraction of smoke (analogous to a chimney).

The preferred material is stainless steel or cast iron. Pig-iron accepts any kind of fuel, but at the same time it differs in brittleness - it is forbidden to cool the housing of the turbocharger.

On an industrial scale, burgers differ in the following categories:

  • oven with hob;
  • pyrolysis;
  • equipped with a heat-shrinkable casing.

The main feature of the burzhuyka is that in most cases it is made by handicraft method, using for this purpose metal boxes, cans and other suitable containers. Next, we will tell and show how to make burzhujki own hands - drawings, photos, video

Among themselves, the furnaces differ in the following categories:

  • material of manufacture - cast iron, steel, brick;
  • functionality - with a cooking surface, caloriferous and gas generators;
  • type of fuel - solid and liquid.

  Classic oven

The sheet metal furnace is a traditional option, which fully reveals the characteristics of the turbocharger.

Manufacturing process

Necessary materials:

  • metal sheet 4 mm;
  • fittings with a diameter of 10-15 mm for the grate;
  • corners;
  • pipe (diameter according to the scheme);
  • bulgarian;
  • welding.

Video 1 Example of making a beautiful burzhuyki own hands

Cut out the bulgarian from the metal sheet all the details of the body according to the drawing

On the back and side wall by welding, weld the corners, which then you will put the grate and one more sheet (in the drawing), which will have to hold the bricks.

Increase the burn time of firewood will help properly made grate. If it is not a solid steel sheet, but a grating of reinforcement (up to 15 cm in diameter), the smoldering fuel itself will suck in the necessary air, at the cost of burn-out it will be more complete and long-lasting.

Next, cut out 2 doors (for firebox and ash pan) and put them on the hinges. At the top, cut out a hole for the pipe, to which you weld a sleeve with a height of 200 mm. After that, weld to the sleeve or put on a pipe, the bending angle of which is 450.

The technology of the most efficient burzhuyki was cited by V.Loginov. As a material, a metal sheet is used, the bars are fittings, for connecting parts - hot welding, for cutting - pneumatics or Bulgarian.

To increase the heat transfer it is necessary to provide a certain coefficient of resistance of the chimney.

How to determine the diameter of a chimney

Calculate the volume of the combustion chamber (liter) in relation to the diameter of the pipe (mm) in the ratio 1: 2.7. For example, if the volume of the furnace makes up for the furnace gas, resistance must be created. From heat engineering calculations, the volume of the combustion chamber in liters should be 2.7 times smaller in numerical terms than the diameter of the pipe in millimeters. For example, if the volume of the furnace is 70 liters, then the pipe diameter will be 182 mm.

  Burzhuyka from the milk can

The second most popular after the metal sheet material for the production of burzhuyki appears milk can. This is easy to explain, since the airtight body is almost ready, and everything else can be done with your own hands literally within a couple of hours.

Manufacturing process

  1. You punched with a chisel or cut out a sickle-shaped crack under the neck. This is the future of the puddle
  2. At the bottom of the canister, cut out a hole for the branch pipe, where the sleeve will be inserted and a chimney will be put on.
  3. The grate in such a burzhuyke better done serpentine or set of reinforcement, but it must be carefully inserted into the can, so you do not need to cut additional holes.
  4. Dimensions of the burzhuyki from the cans - in the drawing. Already the finished construction should be put on the legs or make a base of brick.

The longer the chimney, the less heat loss.

  Bourzuyka from the gas cylinder

An excellent material is a gas cylinder, which also fully ensures the integrity of the structure and its safe use.

Materials and tools:

  • spent gas cylinder;
  • metal sheet 4 mm;
  • pipe (diameter see above);
  • fittings for grate set;
  • corners;
  • furnace door;
  • bulgarian
  • welding.
  1. To begin with, knock down the upper rim with a tap and cut out on the bottom of the balloon a sickle-shaped hole under the scoop
  2. To the bottom of the cylinder you weld a pipe where the sleeve will be inserted and a chimney is put on.
  3. The grate in such a burzhuyke better to do set of reinforcement, in this case there will be a natural air lift and the fuel will burn almost completely.
  4. Dimensions of the turbo of the cylinder - in the photo. Already the finished construction should be put on the legs or make a base of brick.

Burzhuyka experienced a variety of times and proved that it is the most reliable and simple way  heating of small rooms. Despite the relative simplicity of the design, it is necessary to observe certain proportions during its manufacture in order to increase the burn-out time of the bookmark and, accordingly, the efficiency of the furnace.

Stove-burzhuyka - a faithful companion of gardeners, guards, and lovers to repair cars in their own garage. Owners of small private houses also often use this option of heating as the most economical and mobile.

Such a stove is quite capable of heating a small room in a matter of minutes, and thanks to modern design solutions, it will not spoil the interior at all a country house. To make a burzhuyka by own hands practically everyone who will set such a goal. How to do this we will consider in this article.

Tools for work

In order for the heater to take up a minimal amount of time, it is necessary to prepare the following tools:

Welding machine (not less than 200A)
   Electrodes and protective mask for welding
   Bulgarian
   Cutting and grinding wheels for metal
   Hammer-slag separator
   Brush for metal
   Pliers, simple hammer, chisel
   Drill with drill bits
   Measuring device (measuring tape, meter)

What are homemade burzhuyki?

Appearance and specifications  stoves-burzhujki can be different. For each room will suit its own oven, which can both heat it and harmoniously fit into the interior. For the basis of the future of the stove, you can take sheets of metal or apply a finished product: metal pipe  medium size, barrel, gas cylinder or tank. In any case, the thickness of the walls should not be less than 3-5 mm.

If you need to heat the garage, then almost any option is suitable, since from such a stove only the heating of a small room is required. For the burzhuika, which will be in the house, the aesthetic aspect is also important - the appearance of the unit, therefore it is better to refuse some of the options at once. An important point is also the type of fuel that is used

Burzhuyka on self-development

This is an option that just is not suitable for heating living quarters. Because of the sharp odor that is released during the combustion of oil, it is not very pleasant to be in such a room for a long time. Even if it works good exhaust, all things in the house will become saturated with this particular "fragrance". This stove is perfect for heating a garage and other non-residential premises.

To make it, you will need a metal sheet 4-5 mm, which will be cut into pieces, and a chimney pipe. Cut all the elements of the stove with a grinder. The edges of the pieces are cleaned. Before cutting, it is necessary to make a correct marking of all the details, according to the drawing.

In a pipe of the correct length, round holes are made. This pipe is designed to connect the upper and lower tank of the turbocharger. In the upper tank, you also need to drill two round holes: one for the chimney pipe (top left), the second for the connecting pipe (bottom right). The bottom tank of the stove is made similarly, only the cutout for the pipe is made in the center of the container. To fill the fuel must provide a filler neck, which is equipped with a sliding lid.

The lower part of the tank is made flat, four or three legs are welded to it. To ensure that the lower and upper parts are not loosened, they are strengthened with additional brackets of rigidity. Welds must be carefully cleaned and the oven covered with high-temperature enamel, which will protect the metal from rust.

How does this oven work?

Burzhuyka produces heat as follows: a long thin stick or twisted paper ignites the waste oil in the lower tank. When the working off has lighted up, the filler cap should be closed. Air for combustion will flow through the pipe, which is connected to the upper tank. Climbing up, the hot air heats the top of the stove to a high temperature. It becomes so hot that you can even warm the kettle on it.

Such a stove - an ideal option for a garage, as it successfully heats small area, and waste materials for the furnace will always be found among the owners of the car.

Stove-burzhujka from a pipe or a barrel

If you are planning to design a heating device from a pipe or a barrel, you need to choose the right diameter. It directly depends on the size of the room, which must be provided with heat.

Burzhuyku from the barrel can be used in a dwelling, provided that it is made carefully and correctly. This kind is most popular for heating cottages.

In the barrel, two rectangular holes are cut, which will be connected to the furnace and ash pan. The cut pieces are used for the doors. They cut out to the desired size, framed with metal strips and attached to such improvised handle doors and a latch.

Inside the barrel (tube) weld two brackets in the form of a corner. These are grate holders, which are located just below the doors. As a grate, you can use welded reinforcement or buy a ready-made in the store.

A piece of pipe is welded tightly, and supports are welded to its lower part. On top of the pipe a hole is cut for the chimney, into which a pipe is inserted and welded.

Only then are the doors installed. They are attached to the door hinges and set the hook for the latch, measuring the level previously required.

To give the stove aesthetic, it is necessary to clean the welding seams well and paint the product with heat-resistant enamel. If you do everything neatly, such a heater will look no worse than a factory analog. After the paint has dried, the stove is connected to the chimney pipe, which enters the street.

This is the most easy to implement and practical option. Despite the fact that such a burzhuyka takes up a lot of space, it is used for heating more often than other models. Very convenient and the fact that on the surface of the tank you can warm up the water in a kettle or a pan, and also to dry clothes.

Bourzuyka from the gas cylinder

The used gas cylinder is very suitable for the stove. This is practically a ready-made form for the burzhuyki, which requires minimal modifications.

The upper part of the cylinder where the crane is located is cut off, and a plug is welded into its place. A square cut is made in the bottom of the cylinder - it will be a furnace. The cut piece must be turned into the furnace door. To do this, it is scraped with metal and attached to it a handle for opening. Subsequently, you will have to weld to the hole the metal hinges on which the door will be put on. To install the door leaf itself is better at the very end, when the burger is already fully ready.

In order for the air to enter the furnace, several holes are drilled in the bottom of the cylinder. They will give traction, and serve as fire bars. To ensure that the burnt wood does not fall to the floor to the bottom of the cylinder welded metal box - ash box. It can be made of a thinner sheet metal. The ashtray is also equipped with doors.

After this, the legs are attached to the cylinder from the metal corner or truncated pipes.
  In the back of the stove, a smoke pipe will be placed. To do this, it is necessary to cut a round hole in the upper part, which coincides with the diameter of the pipe, and weld it there.
  From above you can equip an improvised cooker. It can be made from a metal grate or reinforcement by welding a frame to the top of the cylinder.

Such a burzhuyka - an excellent option for heating cottages, a garage or a cabins. It is universal and does not take up much space indoors.

Rectangular Boom

Of all the options, this stove is the most compact and neat kind. It is used in living rooms, where thanks to a rectangular shape, the stove is easy to decorate and make it virtually invisible.

The most popular is the factory model "Gnome". Its structure is quite simple, and the heat transfer is very effective.

This stove consists of only a few elements: a marsh, a ash pan and a chimney. The stove is installed on four legs. The second figure shows a more complicated construction of the furnace, which retains heat for a long time.

This construction can be built independently. Let us consider in more detail how to do this

To do this you will need such consumables: a sheet of metal, a thickness of at least 4 mm, a chimney pipe and a steel corner. In addition, you need to purchase a cover for the burner.

Cut must be four walls, a bottom and top hob. In order for the fuel to burn completely in the furnace, it is necessary to use special plates that are located inside the stove. Thus, more heat will be produced in the combustion chamber.

The openings for the furnace and ash-tray are cut out in the front part of the structure. Later, they will be attached to the door on the hinges, with handles and locks.
  A cutout opening corresponding to the dimensions of the part is cut from above and a hole for the pipe, through which smoke will escape.

To the bottom of the stove, the legs from the prepared corner are welded.
  The place where the grate will lie is marked on the side panels. Here are welded segments from the corners, which will serve as support for the grate. The grate can be made by yourself. To do this, it is necessary to drill a large number of holes in a steel sheet, so that it becomes like a sieve, or weld a grate made of steel rods.

At a short distance (at least 15 cm) from the hob in the upper part of the stove, a plate is welded. It should match the size of the stove, but not reach its end 8-9 cm. The second same plate is placed a little lower. It also should not reach the end of the tank, only in the front part. These plates form additional ribbon-shaped passages inside the stove. The heat from the burning fuel will enter the formed corridor and heat the plate. Thus, more heat will remain inside the tank, and not fly straight into the tube.

Rules for safe use of the stove

Fire safety rules are very important when using a homemade heater. To ensure that the stove brought warmth and comfort to the room and did not pose a threat to health, it is necessary to remember the following safety measures.

Place the stove on a fire-resistant base. It can be tile, a sheet of metal or brickwork. Walls near the stove should also be protected from overheating. You can paste them with refractory material or use a non-flammable drywall. Lay furniture any other combustible items near the stove in any case impossible.

The slightest spark or too high temperature of the surface of the turbocharger can cause a fire.

In order to exclude the possibility of accumulation of combustion products in the room, use ventilation. In advance, consider where your burzhuka will be located, and how you can ensure the flow of fresh air into the room, and the outflow of carbon monoxide from it.

Install the stove in a place where there is less traffic, do not allow children to play games near the appliance. By observing these simple rules, you will provide yourself with inexpensive heat in the cold season.

And in a private cottage house, and your own garage or workshop, it's always a good idea to have a mobile or stationary stove-burger. To date, a lot of different models of these heaters are on sale, but they can cost not cheap. Therefore, if there is experience with working with metal, suitable material and the necessary tools, often the stoves do their own.

What kind of model to choose with a firewood on your own - it's up to the master, since these homemade instruments can have the most different kind  and made of both new material, and from handy metal objects.

Folk craftsmen learned to adapt metal barrels to walls with a thickness of 2.5-3 mm, gas or oxygen cylinders, medium-diameter pipes, metal sheets and even disks from large automobile wheels to make stove-burzhuyek.

To work with metal special tools will be needed, some of them are available in almost every private house, while others will have to be bought or rented.

  • Angle grinding  machine - "Bulgarian" and consumables in the form of cutting discs and grinding wheels.
  • A welding machine with a power of 200 A, and also a consumable material - electrodes Ø 3 and 4 mm. In addition, you will definitely need a special mask and protective suit.
  • Metal brush.
  • Hammer-slag separator.
  • Measuring tools - folding meter, long metal ruler, tape measure, chalk or marker.
  • Pliers, hammer, chisel.
  • Drill with drills for metal of different diameters.

The choice of the model of the stove often depends on where it is planned to be located, as for residential premises a more aesthetic appearance of the heater and increased safety are required. Therefore, for installation in the house is best suited option, made of metal sheets or a piece of pipe of medium diameter.

For the garage, any of the existing models will do, but it is better to choose one that will not only bring heat to the room, but also warm the water.

To finally determine the choice, it is worthwhile to consider different options and familiarize themselves with the process of their manufacture.

Stove from a gas cylinder

The installation of the turbine from the cylinder can take place in different ways:

  • Using a single cylinder with a vertical or horizontal location;
  • Using two cylinders that are perpendicular to each other.

The second model will give more heat, since the heating area of the furnace is almost twice as large.

The cylinder itself has a neat appearance, it can make a cooking surface, and if you give the finished stove a decent appearance, it can be installed even in a residential area.

Materials for manufacturing

For the manufacture of  The first model will need one balloon, for the second one, respectively, two, but besides this for the manufacture of  The furnace will need:

  • Steel sheet with a thickness of at least 3 mm - from it will be made a jumper between the furnace and the ash pan, as well as the hob.
  • If you want the stove to look more respectable, then you need to buy a ready cast-iron door with a cast drawing for the furnace and ash pan.
  • If the appearance is not so important, then the door can be made from a fragment of metal, cut from the balloon itself or from a steel sheet.
  • Chimney pipe with a diameter of 90   100 mm.
  • Rebar with a diameter of 12   15 mm or steel corner for making the grate and legs. The cast iron grate can also be purchased in a specialized shop or the grate can serve as the bottom of a horizontally packed balloon in which holes are drilled.

Any of the models can be made not only from large-sized cylinders, but also from small ones - this will depend on the place that is reserved for the furnace.

Gas cylinder preparation

Before starting the work, the cylinder should be prepared, especially if the container is not new, but already in operation. In this case, a certain concentration of gas can always remain inside the cylinder, and an explosion may occur if a spark arises during its cutting. It is impossible to neglect the measures for the appropriate preparation of the container, since do work  will be extremely dangerous.

Preparation is carried out in the following order:

  • The first thing to do is to unscrew the valve, which is located on top of the cylinder, the hole in which it is installed is released. The capacity is left on the street or in the utility room for about a day, filling it up to the top with water.
  • After this time, the water from the cylinder is drained. Thus it is necessary to consider, that the liquid will have an unpleasant smell, therefore to merge it it is necessary apart from habitation.
  • The washed balloon can be used in the work, since together with the water the last gas residues should be removed from it.

Making a vertical furnace from a cylinder

  • The first step is to prepare the prepared cylinder - it indicates the location of the furnace and ash pan. This procedure requires a marker and a flexible measuring tape - thanks to her  quite rigid, but elastic tape can be measured and drawn location  door.
  • The next stage is a careful cutting of the marked parts with the help of the "Bulgarian". Cut out fragments are almost always used for further work.
  • These elements are scorched by adding rims, hinges and a latch-handle, and from them excellent doors are obtained.
  • The inner diameter of the balloon is then measured, and a ring is formed from this thick gauge wire, which will form the basis for welding the reinforcement. Thus, the grate for the furnace is manufactured.
  • Then, the level of the grate setting is planned. The grid should be located 30 ÷ 50 mm below the edge of the cut out opening for the furnace door. The grate becomes, thus, the separator of the ash pan and furnace. The reinforcing bars are welded at a distance of 8 ÷ 10 mm from each other.
  • One of the sides of the furnace hole is welded to the hinges fixed to the door. It is very important to accurately verify the installation site so that the doors can be easily closed and opened.
  • On the opposite side of the hinges, an open hook loop for the gate valve is fixed. It should reliably keep the door closed while the stove is being heated.
  • In the same way, the door on the ash pit is fixed.
  • It is recommended to cut off the upper part of the balloon for welding on top of a round metal panel that will act as a cooking plate.
  • The chimney can be emitted either through the top of the cylinder or through the back or side wall of the furnace. If you select the second option, the upper hob will be much larger, since it will be freed from the chimney.

If the cylinder is standing upright, it will take much less space than the horizontal version, but it must be remembered that any oven should be located 200 mm from the wall, and the walls themselves must be covered with heat-resistant material.

Effective burner from two gas cylinders

For the manufacture of such a burzhuyki need two cylinders, which, heated, are able to quickly build a room. In addition, if desired, in the vertical part of the furnace it is possible to arrange a hot water tank, if you install a hermetically sealed container inside, pull out the tap and cut in the pipes for water supply and extraction.

  • The first step is the preparation of a cylinder, which will stand horizontally. The upper part is cut from it, so that a round hole with a diameter of about 30-35 mm less than the inside diameter of the balloon is obtained.
  • At the bottom of the future furnace, holes with a diameter of 10-12 mm are drilled in several lines, which in this case will serve as a kind of grate.
  • Under this "grate" is welded a metal box - it will be ash pan. On it then it is necessary to establish a tightly closing door, which prevents the loss of coals and ash to the outside. As a regulator of air intake it's used  in this model will not.
  • The legs of the corners or armatures are welded next to the ash pan.
  • Above the horizontally arranged cylinder, from the side opposite the furnace door, a circular hole is cut out, on which the vertical part of the furnace will be installed.
  • A door is installed, which is best made from the head of another cylinder. In the center, a hole is cut into which a branch pipe with a diameter of the order of 76 mm is welded. This branch pipe is equipped with a valve, by means of which it is possible to regulate the flow of air into the furnace, and hence the intensity of burning of firewood. Door hinges are recommended to be placed from above - under the influence of its gravity, the lid will reliably close the furnace chamber window and minimize air sucking.
  • The most difficult in the preparation of the upper, vertical part of the burger is the process of marking and cutting out a certain shape, which is ideal for putting on and welded to a horizontal hull.
  • In this case, an additional heat exchange chamber is arranged in the vertical part of the furnace, i.e. smoke, getting into this department, does not immediately go into the tube, but lingers in the arranged chamber.
  • To do this, inside the vertical housing are welded at a certain distance, which can vary from 250 to 400 mm, metal plates with holes. The holes must be cut closer to the edge of the metal round part. When installed, the opening on the first bridge must be located on the opposite side of the fromversts on the second jumper and so on. The best option  in this case will be the installation of three similar jumpers, located equidistantly from each other.
  • A vertical assembly with already mounted partitions is installed and welded from above to a horizontally mounted housing. On the top cylinder is welded a branch pipe for connecting the chimney.

Burzhuyka from a cylinder installed horizontally

This version of the turbojet is made from one cylinder, and the technology of doing business is in many respects similar to the variant described above. Therefore, it is worth considering only some  elements.

  • Instead of the vertical assembly in the rear upper part of the cylinder, only the branch pipe for connecting the chimney is welded.
  • For a furnace door, a rectangular hole is cut out - it can be fitted to the finished cast-iron door. If it will be purchased in the store, then it is worth paying attention to the doors designed for blowing holes brick stoves  - sometimes they are ideally suited for a vessel from a cylinder.
  • You can make a door and from a cylinder cut out  rectangular part. It is the size of the sides well suited for the resulting hole, but in the middle of it there will be a hole from the valve. It will need to be welded with a patch cut from the metal sheet.
  • And in the previous, and in this version, the hob can be added. For this, for example, from steel rod, thickness of 5   8 mm, the rectangle is bent, which is welded to the container, creating a small but fairly flat surface.
  • It is possible to use instead of a wire two steel strips welded from two sides of a cylinder for all its length.

Burzhuyka from the barrel

Burzhuyka, made from a barrel, is more voluminous and takes much more space than a furnace from a cylinder. That is why it is able to heat a room with a larger area. Such a furnace can also be horizontal or vertical, but both the first and second option is used to heat not only household and technical premises, but also housing.

To make this stove, you will need a metal barrel, a steel sheet and a chimney with a diameter of 100-150 mm.

Vertical turbojet

  • The barrel is measured and marked on its surface location  doors of an ash-pit and a firebox, and also a place of a cut. It should pass below the edge of the furnace at 30 ÷ 50 mm.
  • Then the barrel is cut into two parts, and with each of them the work is first carried out separately.
  • A round plate is cut from a steel sheet, equal in diameter to the size of the barrel. It provides an opening for the passage of the branch pipe of the chimney.
  • At the top of the barrel, the hole is also cut out so that it can be aligned with the hole on the round part that will become the hob.
  • The branch pipe of the chimney is welded into the hole in the barrel, and then from above, through the hole on the pipe, the hob is poured and laid, which is welded to the sides of the barrel. The air space created between them, making up the height of the rim, will help to keep the hob hotter for a longer time.
  • Further to the underside of the upper part is also welded a round metal piece with cut holes in it - the grate. Another option is to weld two semicircular brackets to a ready cast iron grate. The photo clearly shows how these elements look and are located.
  • When the bottom and the top panel of this part of the furnace are ready, it is possible to cut out the hole for the furnace door according to the previously made markings.
  • The cut out part is scraped around metal strips, the hinges and the handle with a vertical latch are fastened to the door.
  • Further, the door hinges and the hook for the bolt are welded to the body. This process must be carried out very carefully, accurately calculating the distances for installation, since the door should be easy to open and close, and the gate can easily fit into the hook-mounted holder.
  • In the lower part of the barrel a hole is cut for the ash-ash pan. The door is prepared and hung in the same way as in the case of a combustion chamber.
  • After that, both parts are joined in a single construction by a welded seam.

Horizontal barrel of a barrel

Manufacturing process horizontal option  The barrels from the barrel are held almost in the same way as from the cylinder.

  • In the upper plane, a window is marked and cut out, on which a door made of a cut piece of metal will be installed. The door connections with hinges and hinges with the body are made using rivets.
  • The nominal hole for pressure relief in a barrel, with a diameter of 20 mm, is used as an ashtray. There is no separate door to the ash pan. is provided. the production of a grate made of a metal sheet 3 mm thick. First, the area is measured and, after the data obtained, a panel is cut out, in which the air supply holes are drilled. The finished grate fits into the bottom of the barrel so that at the highest point, in the center, the distance between the grate and the inner surface of the barrel is about 70 mm. The grate is not fixed rigidly - it should be easily removed to clean the stove from accumulated ash.
  • For the chimney, a special joint is made in the rear upper part. After marking for the desired diameter, the grinding machine cuts the diametral slits at an angle of 15 º one from the other - in total, 12 cuts will be obtained. The resulting "teeth" are bent upward - the inserted chimney flue will be attached to them using rivets.

Materials for stove making

In the scheme and process of manufacturing this version of the burzhuyka there is nothing complicated, but it is more suitable for technical and business premises than for residential.

  • Prepared separate elements of the future stove - two discs, a piece of pipe, a metal sheet and a chimney pipe.
  • All three parts are welded together into a single vertical structure. To facilitate the adjustment of the diameter of the pipe to the discs, it is permissible to cut the last edge, on the one hand, from the last ones along the circumference.
  • Further, on the pipe an aperture under the furnace is marked and cut out by a grinder.
  • The cut out part is scraped along the perimeter, the latch and hinges are fixed on it, thus obtaining the necessary door.
  • Then, you need to make a hole for the bluff, otherwise the fire in the oven just will not burn. To do this, a window 100-120 mm in width and height is cut in the lower disk.
  • From the back of the upper disc a hole is cut for the chimney and a branch pipe is welded into it.
  • It is recommended to make a top plate made of steel sheet 4 thick   5 mm. It is tightly welded to the edge of the upper disc, thus becoming an additional heat exchanger.
  • The same is done with the bottom of the furnace to arrange a full-fledged ash pan and to increase the safety of operation of the stove.

In fact, such a burzhuyka is, more likely, a fire, fenced with metal, and is neither economical nor convenient to use. However, for garage needs and subject to free source materials - this is a very acceptable option.

Burmuinka "Gnome"

One of the most popular of all self-made burzhuek is a compact oven made of sheet metal. It looks neat and can be designed for installation in any room. This burzhuyka well suits for small dachas, as it does not take up much space and is an indispensable assistant in cooking and heating rooms.

One of the most common models is the "Gnome"

Such a model can be equipped with internal partitions -plates, then it will receive the properties of additional heat transfer, and you can make the most common housing with a division into a furnace and a ash pan.

The first version of the furnace will keep heat in the room for a long time, which is very important if the dacha residents live out of town from early spring until late autumn, when the nights are cold.

In order to make such a burzhuyku, you need to buy a steel sheet, thickness 3 drawing, on metal  sheets draw details burzhujki: panels  all walls, a grate and two plates for fixing them inside the structure.

  • In the front panel are cut out rectangular openings for the furnace and poddvala.Vyrezannye pieces of metal used to make doors. They are crocked with a corner and bolts and hinges are immediately fixed on them. Then, the doors are fastened to the front panel.
  • On the same panel, only from its inner side at a distance of 150 ÷ 160 mm from the top, one of the plates is welded, which will regulate the outlet of heated air. Plates should be 80 ÷ 100 mm shorter than the length of the side walls of the body.
  • After that, on the back wall, at a distance of 70   80 mm from the top, the second plate is welded. In the complex, these two plates form a zigzag labyrinth for the combustion of the furnace. Thanks to this, each of the corners of the burglar body will be warmed up.
  • In the hob, two holes are cut out - for the burner and for the chimney.
  • To the bottom wall of the body, the legs are welded from a thick reinforcement or corner. You can choose an option frame from the corner, which includes the legs and the base for fixing the bottom and bottom edges of the side panels on it.
  • Before welding the side parts onto the frame or to the bottom panel, they must be marked and welded to the corners for the entire length of the panel, they must be welded on the same level, since their role is to serve as brackets for laying the grate.
  • In the panel prepared for the grate, holes are drilled in the staggered order with a diameter of 12 ÷ 15 mm, at a distance of 30-40 mm from each other. Another option of the grate can be welded from the reinforcing bar bars. We should not discount the possibility of purchasing a ready-made cast-iron grate.
  • Installation and welding of all walls of the turbine are carried out. The main thing is to achieve complete tightness of the welded seams, so sometimes it is no longer superfluous to install the outside of the metal corner 30 × 30 mm. This will slightly weight the overall design, but will give it additional strength and reliability.
  • A top cover with a chimney and a cooking hob is welded.
  • To make the stove look respectable, it is necessary to clean all weld seams and cover its surface with heat-resistant paint.
  • It makes sense for the lateral and back surfaces to additionally install a screen that will increase the safety of operation of the furnace and create a powerful convection flow of hot air that significantly accelerates the warming up of the room. Panels of the screen are mounted on the racks in such a way that they are spaced from the furnace body at a distance of 30 to 50 mm.

    What to take into account when installing the turbojet

    The self-made burger will bring heat to the house or outbuildings without any problems, only if safety rules are followed when installing it.

    • The surface on which the furnace is installed must be rigid and fire-resistant. This can be, for example, brickwork or ceramic tiles. You can also use a sheet of asbestos that  the top is covered with a metal sheet.
    • Around the oven, heat resistant plasterboard or asbestos sheets are installed on the walls. Wall cladding is also suitable ceramic tiles  or a brick.
    • It is forbidden near the furnace, near the furnace to dispose of combustible materials and compounds.
    • The chimney should also be insulated from combustible surfaces when passing through a wall or an attic ceiling.
    • It is very important for safety to equip a reliable ventilation system, so that in the room could not accumulate carbon monoxide.
    • To make the oven work long and efficiently for its manufacture, you need to choose only high-quality material.
    • Before installation of the turbocharger at its permanent place, it is mandatory to conduct street tests, paying special attention to the quality of welded seams and the accuracy of fitting all the parts.

    The device of the turbo charger is quite simple. When the combustible material is burned in a confined space with air inflow and smoke removal, the walls heat up and heat the room. The simplest furnace must have three elements:

    • furnace chamber;
    • door with air channels for fresh air;

    At the same time, to maximize the efficiency of the stove, you need to follow many points:

    • the ratio of the size of the structure
    • possibility of regulating air inflow;
    • complete burn-out of fuel, etc.

    How to make a burzhuyu with their own hands, so much so that to take into account all the necessary moments for her most effective work? To maximize its operation, accurate thermal engineering calculations are required. You do not need to spend it, since the drawings include all the exact dimensions.

    Main technical requirements

    Burzhuyka - this is the name of the furnace, implying an accurate heat engineering calculation. Dimensions of the chimney in the burzhuyk directly depend on the size of the combustion chamber. If the pipe is too wide and pass all the accumulating gases, then in addition to the smoke through the pipe there will be leave and heat, as well as a large volume of completely not burnt materials, as a result of which the oven will not warm up.

    The width of the pipe should be such as to create resistance. According to calculations, the number for the diameter of the chimney in millimeters should be exceed by 2.7 times  The number denoting the volume of the combustion chamber in liters. For example, if the volume of the chamber is 25 liters, the diameter of the chimney must be 65 millimeters.

    How the fuel burns in the stove

    Despite the grilles, through which the ash falls to the bottom of the furnace is almost cooled down, the heat to the bottom of the tank is still transmitted. Because of this, burzhujki usually put on legs sufficient height according to the drawings, and under the stove lay, most often asbestos, on top of which is laid a sheet of metal, exceeding by 35 centimeters the size of the oven along the perimeter, as in the video. Dispose of the burger at a distance not less than 1.2 meters  from the walls of the room.

    The most dangerous part of the furnace is considered a chimney. It focuses on the hottest gases that can continue to burn, because of which the chimney is constantly hot, when assembling it, you need to check the drawings more often.

    Additional modifications

    At present, turbines can work on, whether it is solid, liquid or even gaseous. Depending on the type of fuel, the construction of the fuel cell adds grate grilles, blowers, etc. After watching the video you can see many of them, and after finding the drawings anyone interested. The furnace is capable of burning even coal. When adding the guides inside the furnace, the burglar can even be used as a plate for cooking.

    If the bars are made as removable from the drawings, the furnace can have two combustion modes. It is possible to assemble a universal ash-tray with a detachable branch pipe, and in this case it will be possible to apply in one burzhuyk three different types of fuel  depending on the position of the blower and additional parts from different drawings.

    Using burzhuek

    When accounting for heat engineering and fire safety, there is nothing to limit the master in the creation of a burzhuiki of any kind and any shape. Many Canadian, Finnish and Swedish industrial manufacturers wondered how to do it attractive burzhuyku, and eventually produce similar furnaces in an amazing performance - with this design they can be placed in holiday homes as subject interior instead of a fireplace.

    By the way, the fireplace in the assembly is more complicated, requires set of expenses, as well as the approval of the project drawing for the installation. When locating a turbine, no reconciliation is required, since they are not considered to be a stationary element. As you can see from the video, many masters heat their garages, dachas and workshops with the help of such stoves, and each self-made burger  has its own scheme.

    Varieties of efficient ovens

    You can work for a burger. It lasts longer and better heat  in comparison with metal. The use of water can be limited only by imagination - you can simply to put on the top of the stove  a tank with water (and use it for domestic purposes), weld channels or pockets for water to the sides of the structure, completely wrap the oven and chimney around the perimeter with a metal tube and run water along it, as in video. The same tubes can be carried and around the perimeter of the room. For most options, drawings are already available.

    Cast-iron cast gaskets

    Such furnaces keep heat for a very long time and are able to work not only on wood, but also on everything that burns. Most often thick-walled burzhujki used by the military in campaigns. The design is considered the most reliable, it never burns out, thanks to its "omnivorousness"  it is very economical and indispensable for good space heating. But as a plate for boiling water it does not fit, and it is unlikely to be produced at home.

    The longest burning

    Engineer Bystrov created a design for prolonged combustion. Such burzhujki have the top loading, in it there is no grate. Such a furnace is often used in smokehouses, for drying walls, drying workers' clothes. Combustion of sawdust to complete burn-up in the oven, assembled according to this scheme, can last for 19 hours. Just enough long burning can be obtained when use of firewood as fuel.

    The main difference between the stove on firewood is that they can work in two modes, which can be viewed on video. If the room needs to be heated quickly, it is necessary to push the ash pan a few centimeters, having opened the gate completely. The second mode is used to save the temperature indicator in the house or at the dacha in one place at long burning of fuel. In this mode, the wood will burn much slower, use very little oxygen and give more heat than with a conventional furnace furnace.

    Such indicators are achieved when loading a larger volume of firewood and blocking the supply of oxygen (the damper and ash-tray are closed). In these conditions, wood will not burn - they will smolder, and not all at once, and their small part. The rest will only heat up, due to which a combustible gas is formed, which will subsequently burn and provide a warm room.
