There are some foods that should definitely be excluded. It is a low fiber food, also known as a waste-free diet. This diet is especially useful when symptoms worsen.

Low-fiber foods are easily digestible, slow down intestinal motility and reduce stool upset. The diet includes a variety of foods that you would normally eat, keeping your fiber intake to around 10-15 grams per day.

The body will still receive required amount proteins and minerals, as well as fluids and salts that it needs. Because chronic diarrhea and rectal bleeding can lead to certain nutrient and mineral deficiencies, your doctor may recommend adding a multivitamin to your diet, depending on individual needs.

Remember that some of these foods may still make your symptoms worse, so you may need to make some adjustments of your own:
