Installing a built-in sink into a countertop. Installing a sink into a countertop with your own hands: instructions Attaching the sink to the countertop

Effective and reliable fastening of the sink to the cabinet, countertop or wall console is one of the prerequisites for its reliable and durable operation. The sink bowl must be fixed as rigidly as possible, and we can achieve this result only if we choose an installation method that is ideal for our conditions.

What you need to pay attention to and how to correctly install different types of sinks - we will tell you below.

Types of sinks by installation method

There are many types of sinks for kitchens and bathrooms on the market today. They differ not only in appearance and dimensions, but also in installation methods. To make it easier for you to understand, we have presented the main characteristics of the most popular varieties in the form of a table:

Kitchen sink type Highlights of design and installation
Tabletop Tabletop-type products are now virtually not used. In most cases, such a product is a bowl that is installed on top of the countertop and is in contact with it only at the location of the drain hole. A small number of tabletop sinks are represented by premium models, so their price will be appropriate.
Invoice Overhead units are mounted on a cabinet without a top: flat areas near the bowl replace the missing tabletop. In most cases, such models are made of stainless steel, and therefore they are characterized by a relatively low price.
Mortise Unlike the overhead, the mortise design is “recessed” into the countertop, which significantly complicates installation. The mount for the mortise sink is installed from the reverse side and reliably presses the sides of the bowl to the kitchen furniture.
Podstolnaya The bowl, as the name suggests, is placed below the level of the tabletop. In most cases, models for tables made of non-natural stone have this design. To fix the product, special brackets are used; in addition, the joint of the bowl with the lower plane of the table top is sealed with a special glue.
Integrated The most expensive variety. The bowl is installed in the countertop so that the gap between them is minimal. In most cases, products made of synthetic stone have this design, but it is also possible to find experienced varieties made of stainless steel.

It must be emphasized that attaching a sink to a countertop made of non-natural stone or installing an integrated structure is a rather labor-intensive task that should be entrusted to specialists. But attaching an overhead sink to a cabinet or installing a mortise product can be done by any craftsman with sufficient dexterity.

Installation technology

Overlay design

The instructions for installing an overhead sink will be the simplest, so let's start our review with that.

It should function according to this scheme:

  • To begin with, we set the cabinet-underframe according to the level. The more stable this design is, the easier it will be for us in the future.

Note! In many cases, it is possible to install the sink on a movable cabinet, but it will still need to be secured and leveled before connecting the mixer.

  • If the dimensions of the base ideally correspond to the dimensions of the sink, then it is possible to use the adhesive method. To do this, apply a layer of silicone sealant to the ends of all the walls of the underframe. Place the shell on top of the silicone, carefully smooth it and press it for 12 hours. After this time, the load can be removed.
  • The standard fastening of an overhead sink to the countertop is a special bracket that is installed on the inside of the cabinet. The installation is quite simple: use self-tapping screws to use a couple of brackets (4 or 6 depending on the size of the parts), install the bowl, snap the brackets onto the protruding parts of the side and completely tighten the screws.

Advice! The fastening for the overhead sink should be tightened manually, and not with a drill or screwdriver - this way we minimize the risk of deformation of the rather narrow metal.

  • Instead of brackets, it is possible to take wooden blocks with attached iron corners. The sequence of actions in this case will be the same as when using standard fasteners: we install the sink on the screwed bars, which we then press with the corners.

Mortise design

In addition, it is possible to install a mortise structure with your own hands, but here you need to be more careful:

  • We attach the template that comes with the bowl to the tabletop.

Note! If necessary, you can make your own template from thick cardboard.

  • We draw marking lines according to the template, and then cut out a piece of wood or MDF along these lines using a jigsaw. To make the cuts more correct, it is possible to first make a couple of holes with a wood drill.
  • We apply silicone sealant to the edges of the hole, and lay butyl tape around the perimeter.
  • We install the part, carefully smooth it and press it to the lower plane of the tabletop, using iron brackets.

  • In addition, if necessary, we drill an additional hole and fix the mount for the mixer to the sink, if its presence is provided for by the design. In most cases, the valve is located at the bottom with a clamping nut.

Wall mounting

In many cases, it becomes necessary to install the sink directly on the wall.

In this case, we proceed like this:

  • To begin with, we apply markings on the wall, choosing the optimal height for mounting the bowl.
  • After this, we take the brackets (their dimensions must correspond to the dimensions of the product) and apply them to the selected section of the wall. We mark the points where the fasteners will be installed.
  • Using a hammer drill, we make holes in the wall. Installation of sink mounts is carried out using anchor bolts with an iron sleeve.

Note! The heavier the bowl, the thicker the anchors should be and the deeper they need to be embedded in the wall.

  • We install the sink on the brackets, if necessary, fixing it from below with special fasteners. We seal the joint between the wall and the sink.
  • Then we attach the siphon, which we disguise using a decorative console: it will also serve as an additional support.

Conclusion

Attaching a stainless steel sink to a cabinet or countertop, and installing sinks made of other materials must be carried out according to a strictly defined algorithm. Only in this case it is possible to guarantee that the structure will be durable enough. For a more detailed introduction to installation techniques, you should carefully study the video in this article.

Friends, good afternoon. If you are faced with the task of installing a kitchen sink, but you don’t know how to do it, then this post is for you.

WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHEN CHOOSING A DROP-IN SINK

Kitchen sinks vary in shape, material, type and price. Most often, a mortise metal sink is purchased for a kitchen set.

If your choice falls on just such a sink, then pay attention to the following points:

  • It is better if the size of the sink is smaller than the size of the cabinet itself (in fact, it is possible to embed the sink into a smaller cabinet, but this is more troublesome);
  • It is better if the thickness of the metal of the sink is at least 0.8 mm;
  • A soundproofing pad should be glued to the bottom, on the outside, or the entire outside of the sink should be covered with a special soundproofing compound. This is done so that the sound of falling water is more muffled;
  • A deep sink is always more convenient;
  • Pay attention to the complete set of the sink;
  • The sink should not be crooked or propeller-shaped;
  • Pay attention to the sink mounting. The fastening metal should not be soft;
  • The sinks come with left and right wings;
  • Chinese analogues of sinks are 2 times cheaper or more than European ones.

HOW TO CORRECTLY MARK A DRINK UNDER THE WASH

On the Internet, this point is written minimalistically and smeared, something like this: “Mark correctly and cut out with a jigsaw.” Let's look at how to properly mark the drinks under the sink.

For example, you bought a round sink and you need to cut it into the cabinet at 800 mm. If a template is included with the sink, then everything is simple, but if it is not there, then we do the following.

STAGE 1. Looking for a location

The first task is to decide where it is best to place the sink. Let me explain - in our example, the sink is round 51 (or 49) cm in diameter, and the cabinet itself is 80 cm, therefore, it can be moved to the left or right, or embedded in the center.

When marking the sink, pay special attention to the corner version (90 gr. version) of the kitchen, since the convenience of approaching the sink depends on your choice.

STAGE 2. How much to retreat from the wall?

Having decided on the location, place the sink on the countertop with the bottom facing up. Now you need to decide how much you need to retreat from the wall. This point is especially important if your sink is 51 cm deep. If such a sink is placed exactly in the middle of the countertop, then there is a high probability that your saw will pass along the front plank of the cabinet (this depends on the design of the cabinet itself). The easiest way is to place a kitchen plinth against the wall and move 1-2 cm away from it. This place will be the outer edge of the sink.

If the cut line still goes along the body of the cabinet, then you need to either pull off the bar of the cabinet, or remove the tabletop from the body, cut it out and put it back in place.

Take a pencil and outline the outer contour of the sink.

STEP 3. Draw a cutting line

Now we need to decide on the line of the cut itself.

To do this, you need to measure the distance from the outer edge of the sink to the fasteners (fastening ears). Usually this size is 1-3 cm, but it may vary for different sinks.

We already have a drawn line of the outer contour of the sink. Now we measure the just measured distance from it into the future sink and draw the internal contour. This is the cutting line.

Stage 4. Ewing

Using a drill, from inside the contour, next to the cut line, we make a through hole. We do it so that the jigsaw blade can pass through.

Use a jigsaw to cut along the contour of the cut. When cutting, do not rush and do not press too hard with a jigsaw.

It is better to cut with a “Clean Cut” blade. If the sink is rectangular, then to prevent chipping, you can use masking tape. When choosing a file, consider the cutting height.

Stage 5. Preparing the cut

After cutting, you need to process the edges of the cut.

We level the cut with coarse sandpaper and try on the sink with fasteners.

If everything is fine, then we clean the saw cut from dust and coat it with silicone.

Silicone will subsequently prevent the tabletop from absorbing moisture and swelling.

Stage 6. Attaching the sink

Usually the sink is attached to the countertop with the faucet already installed, since doing this under the sink is extremely inconvenient.

The new sink is equipped with a sealing tape, which we glue along the edge of the sink into a special groove. For greater reliability, you can apply silicone along the edge.

We insert the fasteners into the ears of the sink, with the hooks to the countertop, bend them inward and insert the sink into the cut hole.

We move the structure a little so that the sink sits correctly and tightly. We hook the sink to the countertop with fasteners as shown in the figure and use a screwdriver to pull the sink to the countertop. Don't over tighten the washer.

You should not use a screwdriver to tighten the sink, as it is very easy to unscrew the fastening thread.

You can feel the tightening force with your hand, but some fasteners are very weak in tightening.

  • If you have more drink under the sink than you need (but not more than the sink itself), then it is easier to secure it with fastenings if you attach plywood inserts from the inside, at the fastening points. We align some edges of the inserts to the sink at the required distance, and screw the others to the countertop.
  • Sometimes sink fasteners work well to attach the structure to a thick countertop, but do not attract it to a thin one. Using the same inserts, you can artificially increase the tabletop at the fastening points.
  • If all the fastening lugs on your sink have broken off, you can simply glue it with silicone, placing a weight on it while gluing.
  • If you have a sink, but do not have fastenings, then you can buy a kit for fastening the sink in the store. Usually it consists of the fasteners themselves and the sealing tape.
  • It happens that you pull the sink, and the fastenings either move off the edges of the cut or become unbent. In this case, you can screw the fastener to the tabletop with a self-tapping screw and then the fastener will not move out.

That's all. If you have any questions, write.

In this article we will look at various options for attaching sinks to countertops and furniture in the kitchen.

Three types of sinks - three mounting options

It makes sense that attaching sinks to the countertop in a kitchen depends on the type of sinks being installed. This is exactly how we will look at this question. Three types of sinks (mortise, overhead, undermount) - three options for attaching the sink.

Mounting a mortise sink

Follow all the rules for waterproofing: treat the cut of the sink with acrylic sealant, insert the sealant, which should be included, into the groove of the sink. Install a faucet on the sink.

  • Install the assembled sink into the hole;
  • Unfold the catching element of the fastener and hook it onto the back edge of the tabletop;
  • Use a screwdriver to tighten the fastening screws.

Important! Tighten the fastening screws not immediately, but in a circle. It is even better to tighten the screws according to this pattern. With this tightening, there will be no distortions in the tabletop and it will be evenly attracted to the tabletop by the distorted seal.

Mounting an overhead sink

You can see the mounting option for the overhead sink in the photo. The fastener itself is visually simple.

  • The sink is placed on the cabinet and aligned along the edges;
  • From the inside of the cabinet, the fasteners cling to the sink shelf;
  • The second edge of the fastener is screwed to the cabinet walls. Watch the length of the screws so that they do not come out of the cabinet walls.

The sink is fastened from four corners of the sink, which may require “acrobatic” skills. When installing an overhead sink, do not forget to install the faucet on the sink in advance.

Attaching an undermount sink

Installation requires a separate article; here I will show only the option for mounting it. The fastener for an undermount sink looks like this.

A kitchen sink should be able to withstand absolutely everything. Hot pots and pans, cleaning supplies, ice water and more. Finding one is very difficult. A stainless steel sink is called eighteen by ten. This is the percentage of chromium and nickel that is part of stainless steel. This sink is resistant to corrosion, temperature, household acids and detergents.

Sinks can be mortise or overhead. The first ones cut into the tabletop, the second ones are simply placed on the furniture like a lid.

Overhead sinks are considered the most budget-friendly and easiest to install.

Mortise ones are installed directly into the tabletop, for which you need to cut out the corresponding hole

Undermount sinks mount below the countertop for superior sealing and appearance.

The choice of coverage is small. Either mirror or matte. Decorated stainless steel differs from smooth steel in being thicker, less noisy and more durable. In general service. A minimum of scratches is guaranteed if the wash meets the state standard. It is recommended to check the quality of your purchase using a magnet. High-quality stainless steel does not attract him. A high-quality alloy sink will cost no more than five thousand rubles. This is one of the cases when the price better matches the quality.

The metal sink fits most interiors, is simple and reliable in operation, and easy to clean.

A porcelain stoneware sink will cost about twelve thousand rubles. But the quality of porcelain stoneware is always at the level. Shape, size, smoothness of bends - all this does not play a fundamental role in the functioning of the sink. It's a matter of taste. It was revealed that for convenience, the sink should be at least 25 centimeters in length. And at least fifteen centimeters deep. When choosing a sink, you need to carefully examine it. The enamel should be even and smooth. There should be no protrusions or depressions. It should have two holes for the mixer and drain.

The porcelain stoneware sink is durable and strong, environmentally friendly, available in a wide variety of colors and configurations, but more expensive

Methods for installing a sink into a countertop

Mounting diagram for a mortise sink

Before installing a mortise sink, you need to decide on the place where it will stand. To begin installation, measure four centimeters from the far edge of the tabletop and six centimeters from the near edge of the tabletop. Take a pencil and mark.

We use a cardboard blank to apply the most accurate outline to the base of the tabletop

To accurately cut out the gap for the bowl, apply the sink with the back side and use it as a stencil. We outline it, it turns out to be an oval or a circle. We remove the bowl and trace it again with a thicker trace. We make another contour a centimeter deeper. We cut along this trace. We make a hole for the jigsaw in any convenient place, without going beyond the contour. Cut out a circle. To ensure an even cut, we use saws with straight teeth. To prevent the sawn oval from falling through, we secure it from below with ordinary self-tapping screws.

We cut out a niche from the front side of the tabletop using a jigsaw

We install crabs on special brackets, which will cling the sink to the countertop. Before installation, install a siphon and tap under the countertop. It's much more convenient. We immediately screw the hoses onto the tap. To be safe, you can screw in a couple more screws and continue. After finishing cutting out the oval, you can dismantle it. To do this you need to hold it well. We install the sink in its place. After installation, coat the end of the cut with sealant.

We apply a layer of sealant to the edge of the tabletop (on the cut), which will protect the wooden surface from moisture penetration and prevent the wood from swelling

Can be used as a sealing method

In the future, if moisture gets under the sink, the countertop will not swell. We connect the tap. We use the siphon.

You can use special fasteners to securely secure the sink to the countertop.

We install the sink carefully so as not to damage the installed siphon and mixer and not to touch the applied sealant

We connect the mixer and siphon to the pipes and check the work done

Installing a stone sink into a countertop

Scheme of inserting a sink into a countertop

Stone sinks are eighty percent stone and twenty percent bonding materials. Stone sinks can withstand heavy loads, do not conduct electricity, are not exposed to aggressive substances, and are safe for food. We measure the dimensions of the sink in the countertop using a ruler and pencil. We take the sink, turn it over, circle it.

We outline the sink with a pencil and, stepping back inward by 1.5-2 cm (depending on the size of the side of the sink), draw a cutting line

We measure the exact dimensions. Drill a hole. We take a jigsaw, install it in the drilled hole, and cut out a circle. We apply the sink, it should fit exactly in the cut place.

When everything is sawed, you can simply remove the inside of the tabletop

We coat the edges with silicone using a construction gun. Apply a thick layer of silicone in a circle. Spread the silicone while cutting with a rag or glove. We also apply sealant to the sink. After that we install it in the cabinet.

Carefully turn the sink over and insert it into the hole, being careful not to touch the sealant applied to the edges.

The hole for the mixer should be closer to the wall. We put some weight in it to press it well. Leave for twelve to 20 hours. Remove excess silicone. We connect the mixer and siphon.

We install a siphon and mixer on the sink and connect the siphon to the sewer pipe

Installing an integrated sink into a countertop

An integrated kitchen sink creates a single composition with the kitchen countertop and requires skills in working with tools, so it is better to entrust an expensive option to professionals

Such equipment is one piece with the countertop and sink. Higher demands are placed on him. These devices are thicker than conventional ones and have a longer service life. Just as for installing previous types of sinks, we make a hole in the cabinet, clearly measuring the dimensions. You can order templates for installing any sinks. So, we mark the future hole and cut it out. Sharp edges are removed with a milling cutter. The curves are then sanded by hand. Polymer glue is applied. After application, install the sink. It is fixed and left for 12 hours. Finally, the shell is additionally fixed by filling it from the bottom with quickly hardening resin. It is important that the filling compound is applied only to the side walls. Then waterproofing is done using adhesive or aluminum tape. Remove excess glue after the filling compound has hardened. Connect water and drain.

Installation of siphon and sink mixer

Scheme for assembling a sink with a siphon into the sewer outlet

Siphons have two main parts: main, small. They are collected together. A plastic nut is inserted into the small one. The rubber seal is inserted under the nut. The small part is inserted into the larger one. The nut is screwed in until it stops. But even if you tighten the nut, most of it will move a little. This is necessary so that we can place the corrugation in a comfortable position. Into the tube that is on the larger part. Next to the one into which we screwed the small part. We insert a rubber seal into the second nut. We screw the second part of the siphon into this tube, which will be attached to the bottom of the sink and countertop. Screw the nut all the way so that the rubber gasket presses well. Screw the inspection cover into the siphon. If there is a blockage, you can unscrew this cap, clear the blockage and screw the cap back on. It is easier to install the siphon before installing the sink, and not vice versa. We screw the screw into the siphon until it makes a characteristic creak. No need to twist. All that remains is to install the corrugation. To do this, first insert the nut and seal, insert it into the siphon, and screw it in until it stops. Now you can connect to the sewer from the countertop.

It is important to choose the right countertop faucet. First, you need to decide how you want to turn on the water. Turn a faucet or raise and lower a lever. Everyone can choose a suitable design for themselves. It is worth remembering that a low price and fashionable design are a sign of low-quality production. It is better to buy a simple European faucet. When purchasing it, you should take into account the quality of the water and the presence of a gas water heater in the house. Faucet prices range from the lowest to the highest. Everything depends on quality. So, let's start the installation. Turn off the hot and cold water supply taps. We screw the flax onto the threaded connections. Apply plumbing paste to the flax. After that we screw it into the water sockets.

You can use silicone sealant. This is done to protect the flax from rotting. We attach flexible hoses to the mixer. There are two of them. Place an O-ring on the base of the mixer. It must be in the groove intended for it, otherwise water will leak. Screw in the threaded pins. There may be one or two of them in the mixer set. We pass flexible hoses through the mounting hole of the sink. In this case, you need to check whether the ring gasket has moved. We fix the mixer from below. We put on the rubber seal. Using an open-end wrench, firmly tighten the nuts over the seal. The crane must not move. We connect the flexible water supply hose to the water sockets. It is important that the hoses do not twist or bend during installation. After all these steps, we check the operation of the new equipment. We open the water and check for leaks.

Video: Installing and replacing faucets and sinks

Installing a kitchen sink can be done using several methods. The choice of method is determined by the type of sink itself, the material from which it was made, as well as the overall design and style of the kitchen in general or the kitchen unit in particular.

Some sinks can be installed in different ways, depending on what you want to achieve in the end. But there are a large number of models that, due to certain nuances in their design, can only be installed using one of all possible technologies. Their category includes overhead sinks and sinks with embossed sides. Many types of sinks can be mounted by building them into the table top. At the same time, they can be attached either flush with the top board, or higher or slightly lower.

The most original and aesthetically pleasing is the last option. But it requires professionalism in execution and is used in those exceptional cases when the sink and table top are made of durable, expensive material, for example, natural stone (marble, plagiogranite, onyx or calcareous tuff - travertine). A sink recessed into the top of the table “exposes” a section of the rock structure, allowing you to appreciate the natural pattern of the material. Such luxury costs a lot of money, so this installation method is rarely used.

Ideally, the choice of how to install a sink is made at the stage of designing the appearance and furniture content of the kitchen. The choice of material for the top board of the table and sink depends on the design style of the kitchen space, as well as on the material capabilities of the installer.

Surface-mounted sink

The most common and popular model of sinks is the overhead sink. It is mainly stamped from stainless steel and built into a rectangular base or table. Covering the entire upper plane of the base frame, such a sink plays the role of both a sink and a countertop.

Anyone can easily install such a sink. The product is attached to a special table that does not have a cover board or back wall.

For connections, it is preferable to use L-shaped fasteners that have an oblique slot on one part. 4 such mounts are enough.

Before assembly begins, it is necessary to install a mixer and other plumbing equipment into the sink, because after assembly these manipulations will no longer be very convenient). First, the L-shaped fasteners are applied to the inside of the base or table. The points of their application are outlined with a pencil, then screws (self-tapping screws) are screwed in there. They are taken up to 16 mm long. After screwing in, they should protrude no less than 5 mm above the pencil marking point.

A layer of sealant is applied in advance to the end surface of the wooden base, which acts not only as glue, but also as a protective film for rough wood. The sink is placed on the attached screws and moved until it is completely adjacent to the surface. The fasteners are tightened all the way, and the protruding sealant is wiped off with a piece of rag (since its remains look ugly and cannot be painted). Upon completion of installation work, a connection is made to the water supply and sewerage system.

Another installation technology is a mortise sink. It is used if the kitchen set has a solid top surface (board), in the thickness of which an opening is cut to accommodate the sink. In this case, sinks can be made not only of stainless steel, but also of any other material.

Installing such a sink is also quite simple, although it has a number of relative difficulties when compared with the previous option. First you need to determine exactly where and what shape the cutout for the sink should be made. For this purpose, it is often enough just to turn the sink over, place it on the table top and trace the outline. Many manufacturing companies supplement the set of sinks and accessories with special templates that make it easier to cut out the opening, which is very helpful in situations where the sink has unusual shapes. The template is pressed against the board at a distance of 6-9 cm from the edge and outlined along the contour. The cutting line is not marked along the contour itself, but 1.5-2 cm deep into it, which will then provide support for the side of the sink. A hole is drilled on the marked cutting line, where the tip of a hand-held jigsaw is placed, with the help of which the contour is cut out.

When sawing, you should fix the table cover at the bottom, so that the cut piece will not fall out. A layer of sealant is smeared along the contour, preventing moisture from penetrating into the cutting area and firmly fixing the sink. Sealant is also applied to the bottom of the sink, after which it is turned on the other side and pressed firmly against the table top with clamps (vices) included in the same kit as the sink. After this, excess sealant is removed and all communications are connected.

A built-in sink can also be placed flush with the table top. This technology is much more complex and requires competence in plumbing installation issues. When installing a sink under the side, a layer of wood is planed. The cutting depth of the tree is equal to the height of the side plus a layer of sealant. The latter fills all the joints and cracks in the structure.

Photo

Installation below table top level

The sink can also be placed below the level of the top board of the table. This method makes it possible to minimize the number of joints and also creates an aesthetic appearance. Often, such technology is used when surfaces are made of materials that are expensive and have unusual characteristics. But then the installation process becomes very difficult, and the requirements for materials, both the sink and the table cover, increase. The sink is fixed using brackets (supporting structures-consoles) or screws; if stone is used as a material for the sink, then it is advisable to use self-tapping screws.

The openings for the sink are cut out using special equipment and a special device, for example, a jigsaw with diamond-coated blades. The edges of the resulting opening are carefully sanded and covered with film to protect it from moisture. It is not recommended to install the sink yourself using this method; it is advisable to resort to the services of a specialist.

Features of installing sinks made of different types of materials

Sinks made from different types of materials may have specific properties that should be taken into account during installation. For example, sinks made of plagiogranite mostly do not have a ready-made opening for the mixer, but only a template and not fully drilled recess on the back side. To install the mixer, it is knocked out with a screwdriver (or a special chisel) and, if necessary, expanded.

Sinks made from other types of stone (onyx, tuff, etc.) may also require cutting out openings, so in such cases it is better to turn to professionals who have all the necessary tools. It is too difficult to cut a hole of the appropriate size and shape in such sinks with your own hands.

The installer or designer must choose which method to install the sink, guided by technological requirements and the style of the kitchen. There are several general installation tips that will apply to all possible installation technologies:

  1. Rubber seals have recently been replaced mainly by sealant. Rubber is rarely able to seal tightly over the entire surface, and its shelf life is too short. Silicone sealant, due to its inherent fluidity, fills all cracks and crevices. When dried, it does not lose water resistance and adhesion properties (cohesion of the surface of dissimilar bodies) for a fairly long period (up to 15-20 years).
  2. When installing sinks made of various natural or artificial materials that can be damaged if hit or dropped, you should use the help of a partner.
  3. When attaching a sink to a wooden base or table top, self-tapping screws (or screws) are screwed in exclusively by hand. A drill/screwdriver (screwdriver) can overtighten the fasteners, which will lead to inevitable deformation or even destruction of the sink due to cracks.
