We make minced meat. Or we take a ready-made one. The second method is simpler, but the first is more reliable, since you are absolutely sure of the quality of the minced meat. If you make minced meat yourself, mince the onion at the same time as the meat.

Soak stale white bread or a loaf without crusts in cold milk for 10-15 minutes. You can use semolina instead of bread. Then soak it.

Mix the minced meat with bread or semolina, add one medium-sized egg, salt and pepper. If you haven’t added the onion yet, now is the time to grate it into the minced meat. True, this is a sob story :).

Mix the minced meat well, it’s even better to beat it. To do this, lift the lump of minced meat above the table to a height of 30-40 cm and forcefully throw it into the bowl. This procedure needs to be done 7-10 times.

Cut the cheese into cubes about one and a half centimeters thick and wide, and 4 centimeters long.

With wet hands, pinch off pieces from the minced meat, as usual for cutlets, flatten each piece into a flat cake, put a block of cheese in the middle and cover with minced meat. We form the cutlets so that the filling is inside and does not show through anywhere.

Dip the cutlets in flour and immediately place each one in a frying pan with well-heated vegetable oil. If you don’t want to pre-fry the cutlets, but bake them immediately in the oven, then don’t roll them in flour, and when forming the cutlets, shape them with your hands well greased with vegetable oil.

Preparation

To prepare cutlets with cheese, the meat is washed, soaked for 20 minutes (if necessary) and cut into small pieces.
